Thunder Bay Gem & Mineral Show, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge

Missed it in the summer? No problem. Take your junior rockhound to see colourful, sparkly natural treasures. Free.

November 14-15

Elf-The Broadway Musical, Thunder Bay Community Auditorium

It’s Buddy! Live theatre, singing and dancing—what a great way to kick off the holiday season. Watch a video clip of the production here.

Clifford the Big Red Dog Party, Toy Sense

Wear lots of red or a Clifford character costume and you could win a prize! Plus you get to give Clifford a hug. Free.

27th Annual Rotary Christmas Parade, Memorial Ave.

The parade is a holiday tradition for lots of TBayers. Starting at 10am, the parade begins at the Real Canadian Superstore and ends up at the Auditorium, featuring lots of floats, music and characters along the way.

Champ Chat, CJ Sanders Fieldhouse, LU

Aimed at girls 8-18, this Fast & Female event includes a physical activity circuit, yoga and inspirational talks by great local female athletes including Alannah MacLean and Sadie White (cross country skiers) and Steph Drost (firefighter). Fee for attending, and you get to take home swag like a t-shirt, water bottle and poster.

Cirque Musica, Thunder Bay Auditorium

The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra provides the holiday music soundtrack, the acrobats, aerialists and other performers provide the oohs and ahs.

Experience the Arts Day, Gallery 33

Drop by this local gallery to see Magic Backpack authors, dance to the Grumpy Grandpas, say hi to Twinkles the clown and yes, TBaywithkids will be there too with our awesome Thunder Bay colouring pages. Free; please bring a non-perishable food item.

5th Annual Mingle and Jingle with Santa, West Thunder Community Centre
From crafts, a bouncy castle and face-painting to snacks, a magician and pictures with Santa, this annual fundraiser (this year proceeds go to Blessings in a Backpack) has lots to offer families. Free except for Santa pics; however you must have a ticket to enter (non-transferable).

Victorian Tea, Thunder Bay Museum

Time for tea? Sip tea, nibble goodies and meet a costumed Queen Victoria at the annual Victorian Tea at the Thunder Bay Museum.
